The Coaching process is based on the premise that YOU are the expert on your life! A professional coach understands that you are the one who knows yourself best. Your coach is the expert on the coaching process and you are the expert on your own life. Together, we co-create a coaching relationship designed to help you crystallize and prioritize your goals, gain clarity about your strengths, and empower you to create fulfillment, balance, and effectiveness in ways that fit for you. The coach provides some tools and uses accountability strategies to help you stay on track

No two people are the same, and everyone’s coaching journey is different. The Awareness, Choices, and Actions are yours. Working with your coach, you can learn to listen to yourself and make better decisions that fit with your goals. You can learn skills to improve your ability to be your own life coach!

Your coach asks powerful questions and helps you look at what might be getting in your way. Your coach helps you explore your strengths, resources, and creativity to discover solutions, and move towards your personal and/or professional best.

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN COACHING AND PSYCHOTHERAPY?

Coaching is NOT psychotherapy or counseling. It is an educational and personal/professional development process. Life Coaching is for people who are already functional and want to move forward in some aspect(s) of their lives. Coaches help people take information, strengths and skills they already have, develop their vision, implement an action plan, and get motivated to realize their goals, desires, and life path. A successful coaching relationship is a process in which coach and client co-create an alliance in which the client can discover and build on her/his own strengths.

I LIVE/WORK IN A LOCATION WHERE THERE ARE NOT MANY COACHES. WHERE DOES COACHING TAKE PLACE?

You can be in any location you want to be when you have your coaching meetings! Most coaches work over the telephone, although some coaching is done face to face. Coaching over the telephone is convenient for clients, and because many coaches are trained and skilled in listening deeply and carefully, it works well for most people.
